University of Florida catcher Mike Zunino made history when he was the third overall player picked in the 2012 MLB draft. Zunino, who was drafted by the Seattle Mariners, was the highest drafted baseball player in UF history.
Mike celebrated the news with his parents Greg and Paola Zunino, his fiance Alyssa and a small group of friends at his Gainesville home. The soon-to-be Seattle Mariner was inundated with congratulatory phone calls and text messages.
